Last day of 2016

December 31st, 2016
The last day
And then a new beginning
I'm always asked myself why people care so muc about the last day of the year. But i actually can understand why because i'm the king of person that loves thinking about the last year and dreaming about what may happen in the next one.
I love thinking and write down what i'd like to do the next year and what i did this year because it helps remember how much lucky i am.
So here we go, writing my list of the BEST MOMENT OF 2016

December 30th, 2016

Can't believe i'm finally writing this post with my new and super beautiful keyboard i just got last day from Amazon! A week ago i sent my"old" laptop back to Italy because it still desn't work. So i basically came here all proud of my magnificent and super high tech pc but i've never used it because the first time i tried to switch it on it didn't work at all. i'm still so piss for that. How is possible that i broke it whiteout touching anything? They told me there some water inside it but there is no way for it to be near water for the all voyage. i just don't get how possible that everything i touch breaks (my mom was probably right, i should known that). Anyway, all this only to say that ne that i got thug new keyboard is gonna be so much more easier for me to write post daily. I wan t be realistic: let's just say weekly. I'm so behind to write post and so many things happened in this past few months that i don't want to thing how much time is gonna take to write everything down!
one big change that happened to my life in this few months is that Buddy, our boxer, started loving my bedroom. You can say this is a huge change because now my bedroom and my pillow smell like dog. But i love Buddy so much that i don't really care. He's so sweet, always looking for attention. And you can't gnome him because he always looks so sad!
Second thing is that i actually feel like my english is finally improving a little bit. I mean, i watch my first movie at the cinema yesterday and i was so proud that i understood everything they were saying. If you're wondering (probably no, but i don't care) the movie we went to watch is "why him?" Which i s a very good movie an d the actor is pretty hot too. After have seen that movie i said that i don't still think the f word is as bed as they told me because is pretty much what the main actor says for the whole movie. But i guess is not how i think because they confirm that yes, the f word is REALLY bed here. And that's so weird because even if you speak a very broken english you now he meaning of tha word... anyway, another example for why i'm saying my English is gradually improving is that i feel so much more confinement writing this post in English, sometimes is even easier than writ it in italian because you can't write what happens in American in italian. I know it probably doesn't make any sense for most of people but it does for me and it's hard to explain.
Damn i love this new keyboard so much that i won't stop writing!
We wen to the movie again tonight with my h-family and we watched Sing which turned ut to be a fun cartoon.
Can't believe this year is almost gone. I'm so excited and scared at the same time for tomorrow because i'm going to celebrate New Years Eve at one of my friend's boyfriend house. I have no idea who's going to be there. But i hope is gonna be as much fun as what my New Years would be if I would lived in italy. I got some crackers and dip and some fake wine without alcohol for the party. I'll write a different post to tell about it next year!
I have so many things to say that i don't know where to start from. But i guess this post is becoming too long and boring. And it's late now too. So i guess i'm just going to make a list about all different post i would like to write and then go to bed so i can have a rest and be ready for the last day of this awesome year!
So, goodnight peeps (i know nobody is reading my post, i just like to pretend that's not true! )

Here we have a normal picture that shows what happens when you go grocery shop with your crazy funny h-family after a movie night!

THANKSGIVING AND BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING

November 24th, 2016

THANKSGIVING

When you're on exchange you experience thing for the first and last time. One of these is the local festivity and in particular the most famous American Holiday ever. Yes, I'm talking about Thanksgiving.
I experience my first thanksgiving ever and I can say that the thing I was most excited for was -of course- the turkey! And no body can blame me because e the very first thing you think when you talk about Thanksgiving is the turkey dinner. That's the reason why lots of my friends and relatives from Italy ask me a picture of a turkey.
I had three (THREE) turkey dinner during the day! But let's start telling you the story from the very beginning.

GET WELL SOON

Remember the post about very weird things you can find on a Michigan road.... now I'm ready to tell you another one which is so much better than anyone else! Two days ago we were driving back home with my host sister from my daily swimming practice. We were talking about something I don't remember when we saw a road killer on the side of the road. It wasn't a big surprise for both of them but this time was different. In fact, there was a balloon over the porcupine. And a writing on that balloon saying "get well soon". For a dead porcupine. On the side of the road. It was the saddest e funniest thing ever! I was shocked and amused at the same time. I became more shocked when talking with vee she told me this is not the first time she saw something like that. But I felt better when my host mom was as shocked as me when we were together driving back home the day next and the balloon was still there.

And last but not least this morning a dear hit the side of the car while my host mom was giving me a drive to school. It's the fourth dear in six month she hits with her car. And her obviously reaction was: "stupid dear! Stop hitting my freakin' car!" Screaming, obviously! That's why I love her!

PRIMO PACCO DALL'ITALIA

PRIMO PACCO DALL'ITALIA
Non so proprio come ringraziarle! Almeno così e successo a me.
